REWIRED is a private school with a state charter. .
No! We are an inclusive model. We enroll students with and without an IEP.
We use a variety of curriculum and intervention resources to reach and teach our students. Our curriculum models are aligned to the common core state standards but every child is taught at their independent level and progresses forward as they demonstrate competency.
Our staff are exceptionally qualified. Together they have over 300 years of experience providing educational, intervention, tutoring and counseling services. Our staff are not just licensed teachers but are also trained in Orton-Gillingham and ABA methodologies.
Individualized services are not cheap to provide. Therefore, we explore as many various funding sources as possible to keep our prices affordable to families and our entity fiscally solvent. EVERY child is now eligible for a scholarship thanks to universal school choice in Ohio.
Rewired is a an approved private school with a state charter. Full time students are eligible for transportation by their district of residence if it is 30 minutes or under from the school they would attend to Rewired. Specific information in regards to transportation can be found here
Rewired is not approved to prepare and serve food. Students should eat breakfast before they arrive and bring a lunch from home. Snacks are provided in the summer.
We use technology, field trips and hands-on experiential learning to make sure that your child is excited and engaged throughout the school day
We encourage physical movement throughout the day and offer a variety of large motor opportunities. We want our students moving on a regular basis.
We maintain a 1:6 teacher to student ratio in grades K-12 and a 1:4 in PreK so your child receives the time and attention they need to make sure they understand what is being taught.
