Summer 24 Base Camp

This camp is appropriate for children ages 3-8 and those ages 9-13 that need a more structured and monitored experience.  Base camp is for campers that flourish in a predictable environment with fewer schedule changes, a slower pace, and modified sensory experiences

Typical Schedule at Base Camp

Morning

9-930  Opening

930-1030 Activity Station #1

1030-11 Snack and Free Choice Activity

11-12 Activity Station #2


12-1230 Lunch

Campers need to pack a lunch each day.  If they are able to use a microwave oven independently then they may bring items to be heated.  

Afternoon

1230-130 Nap (preschool only) or Activity Station #3

130-230 Activity Station #4

230-3 Snack and Free Choice Activity

3-330 Closing

330-4 Clean up and pick up


Activity Stations include planned activities aligned to state standards in art, physical education, outdoor education, music, drama, cooking, reading, writing, mathematics and technology
