ABA is a scientifically research proven methodology.  It is individualized and prescriptive in nature.  ABA seeks to determine the function of negative behaviors and systematically teach the new skills required to replace negative behaviors with positive behaviors that fulfill the same function.    

Orton-Gillingham (OG) is a research proven methodology that is also prescriptive in nature.  OG is NOT a curriculum but rather a systemic understanding of the processes involved in learning verbal and written language skills.  By understanding the process, a trained individual can determine where the breakdowns or weaknesses lie and systematically teach new skills to fill those deficits.  

Providing an individual with a mentor enables opportunities to build trust, understanding and acceptance.  This founding principal is a large component of building a confident and nurturing environment.  All mentors have a current FBI and BCI background check and are provided training and supervision.
