Clubs will meet June 10-August 9 and are geared toward middle school and high school students.
The outdoor adventure club will meet every Wednesday from 9 AM - 4 PM.
This club will be outside hiking, tubing, climbing, jumping, canoeing and zipping all while experiencing, adventuring and learning in nature. Cost includes all admission fees for weekly activities.
The fishing and creeking club will meet on Monday's from 9am - noon. Anglers ready to catch a big one? This club will fish together, learn together, and travel together to various fishing holes in and around Licking County. Identify fish native to Ohio waterways, visit a fish hatchery, try fly fishing, experiment with various types of bait and lures and learn how to keep our creeks and streams healthy. Anglers will need their own rod, tackle and bait.
The D&D Club will meet on Tuesday's from 9 AM-noon. Students will learn how to play Dungeons & Dragons, one of the most well-known tabletop role playing games. The three pillars of the game are exploration, social interaction, and combat. Students will learn the rules of the game, create characters, and role play through each session.
The Engineering Club will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays from 1-3 PM.
Club members will complete challenges that encourage them to expand their minds as they work as a team, make decisions, and learn, all in a fun and interactive environment.
Learn Archery in the Schools safety and format while learning to aim and shoot. All materials provided. The archery club will meet on Thursday's from 9-11 AM.
This club will meet on Monday's and Wednesday's from 10 AM - 1 PM. Cooking, cleaning, budgeting, laundry … oh my. Participants in this club will be eligible for 0.5 high School electives credit.
The art club will meet on Monday and Wednesday from 1-3 PM. The purpose of art club is to provide students who have an interest in art, an opportunity to explore art and craft forms beyond what is offered in the curriculum. It gives students the opportunity to work individually and in groups. Participants in this club will be eligible for 0.25 high school fine arts credit
The Chess club will meet on Thursday's from 11 AM - noon.
Music Makers will meet on Tuesday's and Thursday's from 1-3 PM. Participants need to bring their own instruments to the club. The general objectives of the Music Club are: To engage musically talented/experienced students in club's activities and to maintain and progress in their musical skills throughout their academic years.
